This photo gallery from the 2015 Hawaii Lacrosse Invitational comes to you courtesy of Bill Millman. Bill is a longtime lacrosse nut, dear friend of the site, and one heck of a model American. I met Bill back in 2000, playing in the Brine Elite League in Concord, MA. Since then, I’ve followed his lead and tried to play in as many lacrosse tournaments as possible, but even after all these years, Millman still has me beat by a considerable margin. And so does our intrepid reporter/player on the ground, Malcolm Chase!
You can check out the full set of photos below, and for more info on the 2015 Hawaii Lacrosse Invitational, check out Malcolm’s Day 1 in Hawaii post, and his weekend recap! Both stories paint a great picture, and complement these photos nicely!
Hawaii Lacrosse – 25th Year, Huge Success
2015 Hawaii Lacrosse – Aloha, Malcolm Chase!
Ok, now it’s time for the photos. We’ve got Gary Gait, all four Thompsons, some sweet visors, an old school bucket helmet, and plenty of box lids! Plus it’s lacrosse in Hawaii… and that’s plain old pretty itself!
2015 Hawaii Lacrosse Invitational – Photo Gallery
Let’s start out right. And left. We’ve got Thompsons!
And Gary Gait was there, using a traditional pocket, being Gary. I can’t tell exactly what his pocket is, but it almost looks like a 4 leather Shook Shakedown to me… interesting!
This might be the best beard I’ve ever seen.
And then there the crazy gear, and there was plenty of it. Green chrome helmet? Why not?
Green not your thing? Maybe you like gold…
Or how about a helmet from before 1997?
That lid on the left is a classic!!! And don’t forget the box helmets! Never forget the box helmets!
Maybe you just like lacrosse. So here are a bunch more top shelf photos from the 2015 Hawaii Lacrosse Invitational!
Ok, that’s it from the 2015 Hawaii Lacrosse Invitiational on the photos side… hopefully a little video emerges and we can get one final taste before the year-long wait begins again. I miss Hawaii and I’ve never even been there.
