5 Ways To Make Today About Others

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen!

In very small, but significant ways, make today about others. Find somebody to compliment. Find somebody to help. Find somebody to hold a door open for. Find somebody to hug. Find somebody to thank.

Each of these five things are very small gestures, but they can make a big difference to the recipient. They’re also actions that can be taken despite our agenda for the day. And if we can begin to make a habit of doing each of these five things daily, there’s a good chance that life will be pretty good for us.

As with any habit that we try to build in life, in school, in athletics, or beyond, we must first be fully conscious of the habit we are trying to build. Then we must continually act. Keep this task list somewhere that you can access it – on your phone, at your desk, on a post it note, in the console of your car – and check each off once you’ve accomplished it. See if you accomplish all 5 for 3 days straight. Then a week. Then a month. But start TODAY!

Make it a GREAT day!

Stay blessed.
