“The fact that 2 deadlines for the site opening have passed and no information has been posted is a bit unsettling. Inquiring minds would like to know when the new site will actually be up and running…” – From the CollegeLAX forums

“It’s no secret that Warrior lacrosse pushed the limits of taste and truthfulness in its advertising efforts over the years. Utilizing negative advertising along with references to drugs, prostitution, pornography, pimping, and general womanizing.” – John Weaver, 2004
This is the best lacrosse tricks video I’ve seen in a while. It was posted on Friday by Shweetlax16. I don’t know how old he is and I don’t know the name of the song playing in the background. All I know is this kid is a Redskins fan and he’s got moves.
Here’s the question: Would you want to wake up to Mikey Powell? And by that, I mean to the sound of his music. Could he be your trusty alarm clock?
God I hope your answer is no.
Not a whole lot else to say here. Just click the picture & go check out Hot Clicks. It’s one of our favorite spots on the net. We guarentee Jimmy Traina will keep you entertained. TGIF.
Did you know box lacrosse helped develop Wayne Gretzky’s sense of creativity?
Neither did we. Now, kids in Minnesota are going to get the chance to be like Wayne.
Yep, you read it right, the Minnesota Swarm are creating a youth box league in the Twin Cities. They even have a commercial for it. Check it out after the jump.
Talk about taking one for the team, Snider takes it to the limit.
To be honest, I’m speechless. Just watch this. Could you do this in 4 seconds?
Editors note: The video has been taken down but we’ll try to get it back up soon.
According to iLacrosse, “Reebok has decided to completely dominate the lacrosse equipment market. This team has dedicated themselves to producing only the very best equipment.”
Talk about fresh content, this video was posted today and only has 11 views as of 5pm ET. I say we amp it up! Give this a watch and tell me you don’t like what you see. Six minutes of Maryland’s best lacrosse and a glimpse of what to look forward to this season.
Video after the jump.
That’s quite a few fights in one game. The GOON SQUAD is out for blood!
45 years. All handmade. Right from a tree. Anyone else dying to have one of these?
“First, make sure this is the right school for you. If you feel that it is, we can then talk about lacrosse.”
- Erin Quinn, former Middlebury head coach, to David Campbell, recruit at the time.
Dave Campbell is a fifth year senior on the men’s lacrosse team at Middlebury College in Vermont. He is a captain, and arguably one of the best face-off middies in NCAA DIII lacrosse.
Dave, who’s originally from Boise, Idaho, had an interesting journey chasing his dream of playing college lacrosse. He went from playing at Boise High his first two years of high school, to moving back east and attending Holderness School in New Hampshire, to being recruited by a number of outstanding lacrosse schools, and finally to suiting up for the Middlebury Panthers.
Recently, Dave wrote an article for ESPN RISE about the recruiting process and choosing the right college. As a player who’s worked hard his whole life chasing a big dream, Dave’s insight is extremely valuable for anyone who finds themselves in a similar position.
If you like lax tunes, you’ll love this.
Powell & Harrison have IT. You know, IT. That thing you gotta have in order to be great. These guys represent the future of lacrosse as we know it. It’s hard to argue that. What they do, we love, and what we love, we try to do. They can sell to us because they have IT and we want IT. The most sought-after part of IT that every great player must have is style, and they have that too. Point…

If you’re wondering what Cal Ripkin Jr. had a to say in last night’s keynote at the US Lacrosse National Convention, look no further. Matt DaSilva of the Lacrosse Magazine Online staff, recaps the whole speech on the LMO blog. Here’s a quick look: In between the requisite dose of inside baseball and personal clubhouse anecdotes, he drove home motivational messages that many of the over 5,000 lacrosse coaches and administrators expected this weekend could carry with them. He talked…
[Photo courtesy of US Lacrosse] Instead of giving you a recap of what we missed in Baltimore today, I thought I’d show you how I kept up with it and how you can stay tuned in tomorrow. So, I’ll admit it. I love the internet. Maybe I’m just a big nerd, but I think cool stuff happens online all the time. Just take yesterday’s interaction for example… Here we are, missing the biggest lacrosse event of the year. The event…
The 2009 US Lacrosse National Convention starts tomorrow and we sure wish we could be there! 2008 keynote speaker, Mike Eruzione, speaks to a packed house [photo couresty US Lacrosse] The event kicks off with a keynote speech by Cal Ripkin, Jr. (yep, the MLB Hall of Famer!) and, according to John Weaver, it gets even better from there. For a few highlights of what attendees are looking forward to, check out Weaver’s latest blog post. Though the LaxAllStars team…
