Today we’re showing you how to string traditional lacrosse pockets, but we’re not just teaching you how to string ONE pocket… we’re teaching you how to string ALL the pockets!
Kyle Harrison is in New York City right now doing clinics for a couple of Boys Clubs throughout the City. I grabbed K18 for a little one on one competition in the form of a new episode of Connor Versus, and Kyle didn’t even flinch.
Yesterday I wrote a post about College Lacrosse and Rape. I noted how the two things are not one and the same, but I also stated that we, as a community, can and should do something about this issue. When you consider how the mainstream media loves to connect lacrosse to rape, the latter belief […]
Some people say you can’t label ALL lacrosse players as rapists, while others say that some lacrosse players are rapists. And no one takes any steps towards understanding or a positive alliance, even though both claims are quite true.
Over the past year it has been hard not to hear the buzz that Joule Lacrosse is making in the industry. From shattering (literally) the competition to producing a product with a grip and durability separated from the rest, the guys at Joule are here to take over the men’s, women’s and box shaft game.
We’ve got Fall Ball Videos galore on this week’s Lacrosse Video Explosion! Whether it’s D1 or D3, men or women, 30 seconds or 7 minutes, we want to see fall ball videos, and we want to see as many of them as we can!
Welcome to Episode 2 of That Old Lacrosse Head! Today I’m fixing up a nicely dyed STX X2 head. The John Jay dye job is classic, and it needed to be cleaned up a little bit. The pocket? Well, the pocket was shallow, short disaster, and it needed a complete overhaul!
2014 Bowhunter Cup Cancelled. I know this is not the news anyone wanted to hear. Today, the Nationals have announced that the 2014 Bowhunter Cup has been canceled. They also note that they “look forward to posting a rescheduled date”.
Over on the Iroquios Nationals site, IroquoisNationals.org, it is being reported that Team USA has withdrawn from the Bowhunter Cup. This is the news we didn’t want to hear.
Recruit the coach’s son. Which coaches; sons? The good ones. Yeah, but which one are the good ones? All of them! The children of good lacrosse coaches seem to see success at the college level at a somewhat uncanny level. Yesterday I showcased Jack Raba, the son of Wesleyan head coach John Raba, and I […]
It’s time to introduce Jack Raba to the lacrosse world. Jack Raba is a 2018 but he plays on the CT Cardinals 2017 team and he led the team in goals. I like his game, and his dad is a college coach… that tends to mean high IQ!
Thanks to the one and only Craig Chase, we have photos of the Loyola Alumni Lacrosse Scrimmage! Lots of big name players made it back for the Alumni Game, and there was plenty of Loyola lacrosse gear from over the program’s age.
It’s not a new trend by any means, but if anyone was wondering, a brawl in the stands should NEVER happen at a lacrosse game. I’d say it should never occur at any sporting event, but for some games the fan brawl has become a regular thing.
Welcome to the first EVER episode of That Old Lacrosse Head! This weekly series will feature an older lacrosse head which has been donated to CityLax (in NYC) that is in need of some tender loving care. I’ll take the old stick, show you a little before action, run through what I did to fix […]
