As our sport grows, it faces some serious questions about how the growth will occur and who will make it happen. Corporations will be more and more involved but there is a right way for the sport to grow and Connor Wilson is going to share it with you.

The Hot Pot is back with links and opinion to get you through that first cup of joe. This time the Hot Pot is looking deeply into the future of the Easton Raptor Lacrosse helmet, which will be fully unveilved to the public on April 3rd at Inside Lacrosse’s Big City Classic in New Jersey. What can we expect? And what should we really want as consumers?
The ULax Spring Lacrosse League is in the books and it’s only the end of March! It was a great season and we’ve got all the playoff coverage and photos you can handle. NYC ULax is big timing! I even heard Jay-Z is buying a team next year and moving them to Brooklyn!
Chapman Lacrosse took on BYU in Utah and lost by 2. The reffing has been called into question, but the quality of the discussion and Victoria Harris’ game photos are not up for debate. Provo. I think you’d do well there.
The NLL is once again broadcasting games on TV. This is a good thing, but the presentation is FAR from perfect. Connor Wilson has some critique that will help improve the product of the broadcasts and draw in new fans. Seems pretty simple. Is anyone listening? What are your thoughts on the NLL on TV?
The Oregon Ducks Lacrosse team has been up and down in 2011. They’ve won some games, lost some more and are STILL poised to make a run at the 2011 Championships. Man, I LOVE the MCLA! Plus we have video highlights from the legendary BHSVideoDad! Woo Hoooooo!
Victoria Harris of All American Shots recently sent over some awesome photos from Chapman’s 10-9 win over Utah at Utah. Photos of their close loss to BYU will also be coming up, but for now feast your eyes on West Coast Lacrosse Magic.
Sure, these photos are a week late but NESCAC Lacrosse photos aren’t that common, so we want our readers to see them. A little extra content on the weekend? Sure, you betcha! Wes-Midd Lax action coming at you.
Stevenson is balling right now… Sure, they lost to Tufts 14-13 this week but they’re definitely a big time contender in the world of D3 (and larger!) lacrosse. Connor Wilson breaks down their offense, defense and philosophy of play. They put their games online! ALL OF THEM! Get to know the Mustangs!
Dominican and Mesa State recently did a little D2 dance with the Penguins of Dominican picking up a much-needed win 11-6. They got great goaltending and good offensive production to take down the Mavericks. We’ve got high quality game photos! Keeping you informed both intellectually and visually!
Oregon and Colorado did a little dance earlier this week and we already have professional level photographs for you to take in with wonder. The Red Hot Buffs are one of the best teams (and best dressed!) in the MCLA this year and Oregon is in need of wins. It made for an intense game that Colorado won 11-8.
The Hot Pot of Lax is back and new as ever! All the lax links you need to get through the week, plus… something special. Diagnosis of Billy Bitter and all his “supposed” problems. Think this guy is done? You know nothing, Lebowski.
Trinity College in Hartford, CT has long been a struggling team in the NESCAC. This year, they seem to have the right pieces in place and have only been doing one thing: winning. 3-0 to start the season is good, but where will they end up? And how did they get here?
The National High School Coaches Association Tournament is stepping their game up in a major way. They’ve got a great location lined up and teams repping states from across the country and signing up to play. How is your state going to stack up? And who should go?
Santa Clara intrigues me. They have lost 5 in a row, all to Top 25 teams, and against the teams outside of the Top 10, they have lost by 1 goal each time. That’s three 1-goal losses to 10-25 teams. Like I said, Santa Clara intrigues me. Didn’t they beat Oregon already?
Connor Wilson was up at Wesleyan on Saturday to watch his Cardinals take on the Middlebury Panthers. Wesleyan escaped with a 1 goal OT win that catapulted them into the Top 15, as they were unranked the week before. 2011 is getting interesting!
Do you think the Syracuse – Johns Hopkins Lacrosse game from this weekend was boring? Connor Wilson couldn’t disagree with you more.
I’ve got great pictures from the recent Wesleyan – Bowdoin Lacrosse game. Wesleyan won 7-6 on the road. Snow banks on the sidelines? Only in Brunswick, ME. Brr. Get these guys some heat gear.
A lot of games have gone down in each and every division of college lacrosse this week. More in D3 than any other, but this post covers every game that mattered. If I missed one, let me know about it in the comments! I’m only one lacrosse-loving man!
Denver has new helmets. Yes, the Denver Pioneers have brand spanking new custom Warrior TII Lacrosse helmets. Denver is doing lax right, my man! These are BOTH something beyond special. One-of-a-kinders!
