Sometimes the one thing holding us back is ourselves. We can’t swim very far if we never let go of the wall. Nor can we left go of the wall and expect to make any progress if we’re still wearing floaties, and trying to be safe.
Good morning, ladies and gentlemen! An Excerpt from Jay Bilas’ book, Toughness In metallurgy – the science of metallic elements – toughness is a measure of how much energy a material can absorb before rupturing. Scientists have devised ways to measure a metal’s toughness through lab impact tests, such as swinging a hammer from a […]
Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. Happy Monday! Happy belief systems are fluid and evolutionary… But it’s not about your beliefs. It’s about how you life. Do you have enough conviction to live your beliefs? I don’t hold all of the exact same beliefs, today, in the exact same manner that I held them 10 or […]
Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen! I like this statement. And if it holds true in basketball, it should also hold true in life. In fact, We could almost think of each finger as a separate component of or person on the team. Do you have each of those 5 people accounted for on your “team,” and […]

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. Happy Monday! Stress is a choice. We get stressed out when we choose to focus on our own limited resources instead of focusing on the unlimited resources available through our heavenly Father. You’ll never get healthy by trying to overcome obstacles through your own willpower; it simply isn’t strong enough. Focus […]
Good evening, ladies and gentlemen! One thing I’ve learned in life is that life isn’t long enough to allow ourselves to live in limbo, afraid to make decisions based on hypothetical results. It’s tough enough to make decisions without fully knowing what is going to come of it. Not making decisions because of “what if”s is just crazy. Every now and […]
Good morning, ladies and gentlemen! The Two Rules of Perseverance Rule #1: Take one more step. Rule #2: When you don’t think you can take one more step, refer to Rule #1. – H. Jackson Brown, Jr. There’s nobody I know that has never once needed a kick in the pants. Sometimes that kick is […]
