Looks as if they were using a softer ball as well. In the video it seems as though they’re using one of the pink balls that are softer than a regular ball. Probably a good idea seeing as how no one had protective gear on.

i agree but i have to say that a lot of the helmets today such as the Pro7 and CPX-R along with the TII are all designed to reduce the chance of concussion. Also Riddell makes lacrosse helmets which may not look very stylish but it is very protective. I think you have great points about with less pads there are less injuries but we have to remember that the Baggataway tournament was more adult players and they were all less willing to try and injury a player. if pads were removed then big hits would be far worst. These are just my feelings. I love reading your post btw

I LUV IT !!!! pads are a recent addition to the sport in Lax’s long history. I agree with the Rugby player the more padding the dumber you behave. It would be interesting to see how many Rugby injuries there are in comparison to Lax and football over a full season. And of course no creases!!!
