Belgium beats Uganda 10-4 – Photo Blast

Belgium vs Uganda - 2014 World Lacrosse Championships

The Belgium national men’s lacrosse team took on a storied Uganda squad in group play on Tuesday, July 12, at Dicks Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colorado.

Beating Uganda by 6 goals was not an easy feat as the Ugandan players exemplified a great deal of athleticism and stamina throughout the game. Both teams played hard as if a great deal of pride was on the line, which made for a very enjoyable and entertaining fan experience (in my opinion). The Belgium team outsized Ugandan players, but Uganda had speed on its side, and while Belgium maintained control of the scoreboard most of the time, the game seemed much closer than 10-4 throughout.

What follows below are select photos I took during the game. Hope you enjoy!

Belgium 10, Uganda 4
