Best Tracks of 2009 & Noteworthy Memories

This week we posed a question on Facebook and Twitter:

What was your favorite track of 2009?

Above all, multiple tracks from Lil Wayne’s No Ceilings Mixtape got plenty of votes. Here are a few of our favorite songs from that album.  Likewise, Julian Watts, Kyle Harrison and Jenn Vermilye all dropped Weezy’s name along with Drake via Twitter.  We tend to like Drake as well.

Also on Twitter, The Lax Life hit us with these 2 tracks:

Mavado’s “Last Night”

A few other notables:

The Lonely Island’s “I’m on a boat”

And of course…

All that said, Kid Cudi’s “Pursuit of Happiness” takes the top chedder on my personal list.
