I’m a 24 year old Canadian born box goaltender with a German father , and it has been a dream of mine to play for Germany at the Worlds ever since the first world indoors back in 2003. I contacted the DlaxV prior to the 2007 world championships to see if I could try out for the team, and was told they wouldn’t be sending one (due mostly to cost issues I was told). I didn’t try contacting anyone this time around as I assumed the senario would be similar to 2007. Hopefully we will see Germany at the world indoors in 2015!

I have been playing lacrosse for 32 yrs now and my father was born in Germany….. roots that I am very proud of. Maybe the subject should be discussed outside of Germany. Use the players that can commit from the DLaxV.

Mainly however this is how I see the German Championships, when put in perspective.

Your perspective and level of emotional attachment may differ, I respect that, but as it is now, lacrosse in Germany overall is a glorified beer league (with some exceptions, obviously).
