I share this philosophy.  While we did start a middle school program this year, I am not counting on it to lead to additional teams by itself.  Our middle school program (which is more of an extended clinic than anything) was created more because of demand than anything else.  We had enough kids & parents that wanted to get involved that we more or less had to do something.  Hopefully this will infect their friends and help spark additional teams, but I am not counting on it.
