electrical tape is good. after putting it down, heat it with a hair dryer or a lighter to really adhere the sticky stuff on the tape to the plastic. also make sure the head is REALLY clean.

there is also a product out there called "artist tape". It is black and about a quarter of an inch thick at most. that stuff works best IMO.
