Keene State also plays Bowdoin right after they get back from playing genny and Springfield. For some reason it is not on the lax.com schedule but is on both team pages. So thats another game against a good/ranked/nescac team.

Well, I was DEFINITELY wrong about Cabrini. Or Hampden-Sydney. I can admit that. Can’t wait for the next poll. Gonna be tough with so many good games to go!

in order to be a top 20 team you have to beat Cabrini. But I don’t tend to engage in relative scoring if I can help it. The win over Cabrini was good for Lburg, and they have a LOT of opportunities to show me I’m wrong. They totally might! But from what I have SEEN of the 2011 team, I’m just not that impressed.
Haverford could drop for me quite a bit if they drop a couple more games. And Lynchburg could even get back into my top 20 if they play well in the Stevenson game and I see better from them.
It’s all very early, and unlike some pollsters, who slowly move their teams week to week, I am not afraid to reward teams that prove they’re good. Same goes for teams I thought were good that don’t win. Next week is a new week. Will Lburg be in my Top 20? Maybe! All depends on if they earn it.

i just dont understand how you have haverford at 8 when they only beat cabrini by one when lynchburg handled cabrini pretty well

I agree with Stevens being top 15 in your poll, they destroyed 3 of the best NE teams outside of the NESCAC schools. Also, the Keene State win against Bates could be huge for them in terms of strength of schedule and seeding for the NCAA tournament. They are loaded on the offensive end of the field.

I’d love to see it! Noke just doesn’t seem to be able to get over that 3rd place hump in the South. I’m all for parity! I just don’t think it’s going to happen. But that’s why they play the game! Taunt away!

probably fair. But they haven’t done anything to impress me either.
their win over Cabrini means little to me since I didn’t rank Cabrini. And I watched them play Marywood. I was less than impressed. They had some players, NO DOUBT. But their O was anemic, they did not pass the ball well on O OR during clears and seemed to play create for yourself lacrosse. I had them pretty high last week and pre-season. But now that I’ve seen them, I’m not so sold anymore.
Sure, they lost to Salisbury by ONLY 8 goals (although they only scored 5) but I don’t rank teams because they beat bad teams and lose to good teams. Everyone else ranked them. I still think they’re high though.
