I was away this weekend so I had to watch the MCLA (and NCAA) lacrosse games on DVR. They were still exciting, even though I knew what was going to happen. I tried to not know, but since I own a phone, it was impossible. Damn you, technology! Of course without technology, I wouldn’t have been able to watch the games at all so… I guess I owe technology and apology. I’m sorry, my friend, that was unfair of me.
Since BYU was playing in Denver, and eventually winning it all (in Division 1 of the MCLA world), Victoria Harris was there, snapping pictures like crazy. And as usual, she came back with a great set of photos. I picked out some of the best ones for the LAS readers to take in. They’re the best solely because I like them. It is a subjective call, but I think these photos really show the intensity of the games and the overall atmosphere of the MCLA Championships…
Many sincere thanks go out to Victoria Harris of All American Shots who sent over MCLA photos all year long. Without photographers like her, and videographers like BHSVideoDad, the MCLA would surely suffer in terms of coverage. These are just some of the people on the ground making it happen, regardless of whether they get paid or do it for fun. The fact is, they do it really well, and to me, that means a lot. So thanks!!! The MCLA deserves more coverage, and your work makes it that much better!
