LEAGUE ANNOUNCES NEW VIDEO GAME: NLL LACROSSE 2010, PRESENTED BY REEBOK LACROSSE

Game to feature every team and all players; available in late April for only $5

The National Lacrosse League (NLL) today announced it has partnered with Carlo Sunseri, in conjunction with Triple B games, to develop the newest lacrosse video game, NLL Lacrosse 2010, presented by Reebok Lacrosse.

The game will feature all eleven NLL teams and the league’s 250 players, custom jerseys, behind the back shots, dive shots, quick stick passing, picks, stick fakes, and more. NLL Lacrosse 2010, presented by Reebok Lacrosse will offer fast paced, hard hitting professional indoor lacrosse for just $5, on Xbox 360’s Indie Game Channel.  The $5 one-time purchase allows the fan to download NLL Lacrosse 2010 directly to their Xbox for unlimited play.  The game was created in partnership with Carlo Sunseri and Triple B Games.

“We are excited to partner with Carlo Sunseri in bringing the excitement of the National Lacrosse League to a dynamic new video game”, said NLL Commissioner George Daniel.  “The NLL is home of the world’s greatest lacrosse players. Professional indoor lacrosse combines a level of skill, speed and physical play that will translate into an exciting video game that our fans will love.”

In addition to offering all of the league’s eleven teams and 250 players, fans can play any team of their choosing through the entire 2010 NLL season, including the Champion’s Cup Playoffs.

“NLL Lacrosse 2010, presented by Reebok Lacrosse is the most advanced lacrosse video game yet. We know people will love the new features the game has to offer including fully licensed National Lacrosse League teams, rosters, jerseys, and the chance to compete in the 2010 Champion’s Cup,” said Carlo Sunseri, Founder & CEO of Crosse Studio. “And with a breakthrough price of $5, we are thrilled to get NLL Lacrosse into the hands of even more lacrosse players around the world.”

“Triple B Games is delighted to partner with the NLL, Crosse Studio and Reebok to deliver the first licensed lacrosse game on modern consoles”, said Jonathan ‘Fritz’ Ackerley of Triple B Games, one of the co-creators of NLL Lacrosse 2010, presented by Reebok Lacrosse.

Pricing & Availability

NLL Lacrosse 2010, presented by Reebok Lacrosse will be available on the Xbox 360’s Indie Game Channel in the United States, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, and United Kingdom in March for a price of $5 (US).  The game is expected to be available for purchase on or around April 30th, 2010.

Total attendance exceeded one million fans for the fourth consecutive season. The NLL has eleven teams playing in major markets of the United States and Canada: Boston Blazers, Buffalo Bandits, Calgary Roughnecks, Colorado Mammoth, Edmonton Rush, Minnesota Swarm, Orlando Titans, Philadelphia Wings, Rochester Knighthawks, Toronto Rock and Washington Stealth.  For more information, visit NLL.com.

In less than a year since its release, the downloadable game has already sold approximately 110,000 copies. Crosse Studio Founder & CEO Carlo Sunseri is a business owner and college lacrosse coach based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  Triple B Games was set up in 2007 in Dundee by industry veteran Jonathan “Fritz” Ackerley (Harry Potter’s Quidditch World Cup, Shadowman, F1 2002, Actua Soccer 2). The company’s aim is to show that great games can be delivered without any of the traditional ‘AAA’ baggage of vast teams & overblown production values.  For more information, visit facebook.com/CollegeLacrosse2010.
