The GREAT Life: Respect, Part 3

“Resolve to be tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving and tolerant with the weak and wrong. Sometime in your life, you will have been all of these.”

This is one of my favorite quotes. It’s pretty straight forward. It doesn’t need explanation, but it’s a great reminder. The respect that we show one another on a daily basis is reflective of our character. And it’s very telling when we show a lesser level of respect toward folks that don’t necessarily measure up to our own standards or expectations, or when our day to day agenda reduces certain people seemed to just another hassle or speed bump in our lives.

To quote my friend’s father, “Always remember, son. From the janitor to the CEO, treat everyone the same.”

be easy
God bless.
