I’ve played field lacrosse since 3rd grade and only started playing boxla in 2008. BY FAR box is more exciting to play. Tighter spaces and quicker hands with less goal to shoot on and nowhere to run. And while box may be more physical than field, that doesn’t make it any more thuggish or barbaric. I’d rather score a goal on a 4′x4.5′ goal any day of the week…

I like the way the NLL game is played. I like the way the MLL game is played. They are different sports entirely. Because you like one more than the other doesn’t mean you should bash the other. Baseball is my favorite sport. Because I like that does that make hockey wrong? No, I like both sports. There is not a right and wrong way, they are both sports that are fun to watch.
The NLL has more to worry about than the play of the game, that is fine. They should focus more on marketing, that is the real issue.
