ANSWERED – Blind Item: Sponsored Player Signing

Blindfolded man
Who's peeking?

One or two people in the comments actually got it right.  Very nice work fellas!  This “big” name player was Grant “the Big Cat” Catalino.  And he signed with Under Armour, which he had worn as a varsity athlete at Maryland.  IL with the press release.  Zzzzzzzzz.

It’s Blind Item time.  And here’s how it works: We give you an intentionally vague bit of news in hint form, and you try to figure out what we’re talking about.  The news is real, and it’s confirmed, but it’s not world-changing, so we’ll have some fun with it instead!  It’s a Blind Item at its finest, and most lacrosse-iest.  Maybe you know the details, maybe you only think you do.  Time to find out…

This deal has been in the works (and rumor mills) for a little while now.  But now it’s a done deal.  This recently turned pro with a “big” name has just inked a deal with an equipment manufacturer.  He’ll be right at home with this company, as the relationship isn’t exactly new.

Got any ideas?  Let’s hear ’em!

If you have news that you think might be Blind Item worthy, send it in to us so we can keep these things going.  We never betray sources, and have birdies all over, but we wouldn’t turn away a few more!  Hit us up at info@lacrosseallstars.com!
