Limelight Gala

Last year, the organization established and presented the Nicholas E. Colleluori Award, to a survivor demonstrating heroics and perseverance in the fight against blood cancer. The 2013 recipient of the Nicholas E. Colleluori Award will be survivor and Team of Champions member Katherine Frega.

In addition, the 2013 Lime Light Gala will honor the ground breaking medical achievements of Dr. Carl June, Program Director of Translational Research and his team at the Abramson Cancer Center of the University of Pennsylvania.

Proceeds from the Lime Light Gala will support Nick’s House™, a facility operated by the HEADstrong Foundation which provides complimentary lodging to displaced families traveling to Philadelphia for blood cancer related treatment and the Nicholas E. Colleluori Lymphoma Research Fund at the Abramson Cancer Center of the University of Pennsylvania under the direction of Stephen J. Schuster, MD.

During this 5 hour event, 30 people will succumb to blood cancer and 75 people will be newly diagnosed.

“The Lime Light Gala is an incredible and inspirational evening that we are honored and privileged to host annually. We strive to make this event an unforgettable experience. We celebrate Nick’s life, hope that our guests leave with increased awareness of the disease, an understand the necessity and validity of our service offering and an appreciation for the work that is being done to improve the quality of life for those dealing with blood cancers in Nick’s name. We wish to extend an invitation to all that can attend the Lime Light Gala.”

Tickets are now available for $227.00 each, in addition special pricing for tables of 10 are also available. Tickets are subject to limited availability. Purchase Tickets here
