LAS Presents: We’re San Francisco, and We Grow The Game

This week, we’re excited to release our newest Grow The Game video piece featuring youth lacrosse players from the San Francisco Bay Area. The footage was collected last Fall, on the last day of the Grow The Game Tour, during our time at Kezar Stadium for the San Francisco Fall Classic featuring Ohio State vs. Lehigh.

Our day at Kezar was made possible thanks to the good people of the Bay Area Youth Sports Foundation (BAYS) who run the event, and GTG Tour donor Doug Appleton. Thanks to BAYS, we were supplied with space inside the venue and granted press access during the game.

Meanwhile, Doug introduced us to Lacrosse for LIFE, a non-profit organization that provides year-round lacrosse and education programs in underserved communities of San Francisco. We were able to meet up with a small group from Lacrosse for LIFE before the game started. A few rounds of LAS Cornhole and a couple of impromptu stick trick sessions later, and everyone enjoyed a fun, low key Sunday afternoon.

Special thanks to my sister Cassie, who volunteered to film, and Mark Donahue for editing the footage. Also, a big shout out to all those who volunteered to step in front of the camera that day – Thanks representing your hometown and sharing your passion for the game!
