There’s nothing we love more than having a true Grow The Game moment to share with the masses.
To that point, Here is some 1998 video showing how new lacrosse was to Texas and especially the sportscasters who had trouble describing it to the masses.

As great as the bucket helmets and football practice jerseys were back in the day, the sportscasters in this clip did their best to take the shine off.
Now, I’m not trying to be mean-spirited but seriously? These sportscasters looked and sounded like they went to the “Boom goes the dynamite” school of sports journalism.
Thankfully, we know the game in Texas has been booming since 1998. Keep that Grow Texas Lacrosse train rolling, fellas.
