Hey LAS Nation,
I’m the new video guy, Mark Donahue. My role here at Lacrosse All Stars is to Grow The Game through video production. Be patient while I get situated here in Idaho, we have big plans for you guys, and I’m stoked to be a part of the mission. Feel free to send me an email, voicing your opinions about what you’re looking for. My job is to serve you, and I promise I will do my best to create the content you want to see.
As you can probably tell I get a little nervous in front of the camera, that’s why I’d rather spend my time staring at the world through a viewfinder. I can’t remember what came first, my lacrosse stick or my video camera, but both are with me almost everywhere I go. I also love to shred the snow and the 6 string, so if you want to hear you or your band’s music in an upcoming video, contact me and we can try to work something out.
I came to Boise from Ohio where I have been playing lax since I was in the fifth grade and officiating for the past nine years. I’ve played long pole and goalie most of my life, but honestly, I do what I can to stay out of the cage these days (I’m a big baby).
I have transitioned after high school to focus more on officiating, so if you have played at a tournament in Ohio the past few years, there’s a good chance I was one of your referees. My passion, aside from officiating, is playing box. I played defense for the SOB club in Cincinnati the past couple seasons and I hope to get to the Aleš Hřebeský memorial tournament next year in Radotin.
Grow The Game,
Mark
