I played for Morgan from 2006-2010, I'm glad to see the team getting coverage, that was always our problem, no one knew we existed and had no support from the Morgan community. Baltimore is an interesting city, and as a white player who played in annapolis to enter the world of inner city Baltimore lacrosse was amazing, the kids I balled with were unbelievable, sad really that they did not have the opportunities to make it out of that and play varsity somewhere, it really is a shame. I'd continue to play with the team if I had not moved west, I now work for Pro Athletics and hope to give back to them in the future.

Yea I am actually from the PG County area. And i never knew that I was going to find another sport outside of wrestling and football, then lacrosse came in my life. I really think that if all races had a chance to play lacrosse, we would see a lot more schools (including HBCU's) having lacrosse team.

If you didn't know already, Morgan's club team and Howard Univ.'s club team squared off last season in the first ever HBCU lacrosse game. Personally, I find this really inspiring because most schools in the state already have lax as a sport except the HBCUs like UM-Eastern Shore, Coppin St., and Bowie State. Also to add, not all of Maryland's public high schools have lax as a sport. Most of the current schools play in Southern Maryland, Montgomery County and in the Baltimore Area. #PGClax #301lax #Upanduplax
