		<description><![CDATA[Great article Connor.  I&#039;ve recently done just what you said.  My team was asking me to change things (formation) and I asked them why.  When their answers were not enough to persuade me, I suggested we keep the 2-3-1 and just modify what we do in it...and it worked.

I also agree that the core of the whole article is mental toughness...from both the coach, the team and the individual players.   ]]></description>

One thing you didn&#039;t touch on is mental toughness; especially for high school kids. It&#039;s something you can&#039;t really teach but if you emphasize poise and focus I think it puts your team in a good place to win games (smart decisions!!!).]]></description>
