We have a HUGE weekend of college lacrosse coming up, but I’ll try to keep my excitement levels under control for now, since it’s still the morning. Don’t want to start the day off too hot! But to get you rolling on this Fundeful Friday, I’ve got a bunch of excellent lacrosse-related photos to show off. Also, Monmouth University is adding D1 men’s lacrosse! Random, awesome announcement of growth! We LOVE it!
If YOU have a photo you want added to this post, hit us up and send it in via the LAS tip line!
We’ll start with a video by Mike Powell titled “I Am Brett Queener“. I am Brett Queener by Mike Powell. I get it!
So who is going to try to play wall ball today with two shafts and nothing else? This guy probably.
Steve Clay is heading up to Middlebury for NESCAC basketball (Tufts women), but will, of course, check out the lacrosse action going down in Vermont as well. Bates plays Middlebury, and while Midd is favored, Bates is game seasoned. It should be a tough game. I met Steve when I was broadcasting NCAA DII tournament lacrosse games for CBS Sports Online, and the man absolutely loves NESCAC sports. So much so that he reps the conference whenever he can. Today it’s with his coffee mug.
Seriously, how can I get one of those?!?!?!
Maybe I could pour some Coke in there instead of coffee. I’m sure someone would give me a Coke. After all, the new Coke bottle in Australia is TELLING THEM to do it.
Thanks to my old roomie down in Perth, Shendelle Oliver, for the photo! I went to Australia almost 11 years ago, and am still in touch with a number of people I met while there. The lax bond truly is strong!
Down in Baltimore, Inside Lacrosse is busy prepping for the Kinoca Minolta Face Off Lacrosse event. John Jiloty snapped this fantastic photo from the field, and if you’re not IN Maryland this weekend, you should definitely try to watch on TV! Want to know when the games will air? Check out our 2012 Lacrosse On TV Schedule! Set up that DVR, these should be epic!
Did you see Thailand’snew helmets? They’re almost TOO good looking. I agree, Natalie Portman.
This is the best parental reaction to a lacrosse goal… EVER.
Great Cal Poly – UCSB highlights from The Lacrosse Network!
