NCAA Tournament Breakdown by State

We took all of the first round teams of the 2014 NCAA Lacrosse Tournament and broke down each roster and divided the players by state and province.

Since all of the rosters had to be checked by hand, we can promise that a ton of effort was put forth, but our numbers could be slightly off (nobody’s perfect)!

Included first round teams: Duke, Bryant, North Carolina, Air Force, Denver, Penn, Drexel, Maryland, Virginia, Albany, Syracuse, Cornell, Loyola, Johns Hopkins, Harvard and Notre Dame.

New York was the clear dominant state sending 195 athletes to the 2014 NCAA Tournament.

Maryland (96) was a close second, followed by New Jersey (74). Ontario produced the most amount of Canadians in the tourney with 21.
