Apologies for the delay, issues with truffle pigs. It's not hard to jump on the Chaptown funwagon. With that said I like to think I am impartial when it comes to comparing teams. So I got out my abacus and trusty slide-rule. to keep things purely mathematical. Then I jumped onto laxpower.com to really get down into it. As the standings are now CURRENTLY I would place Chapman in the top 20. Both Whittier and Chapman are scheduled to play Ithaca College. I think this game will be a better way to determine where Chapman lines up in the DIII. It's still early in the season. Ithaca hasn't even played yet. I'll keep my notebook open and track these games and I'll get back with more input. One thing to think about. Comparing the MCLA and the NCAA is like using the metric system to compute something in the standard system. Bottom line the MCLA is club, and with NCAA sanctioning teams like Chapman and Michigan, BYU and others, could really take strong positions. Just my two cents.

If Chapman went up against Denver today, like this minute, then I think they would give Denver a run for their money. In the end though I think the Pioneers would come out on top. Coach Tierney will definitely take their game to another level. I'd like to see a match up between the two teams to see how they fared against each other myself. If they were to play at the end of the season then I think Denver wouldn't even look back.
