Yeah he is! The night of the game was the first time I met him, and he was very willing to answer any questions and let me film the team. That brings up a point. The work devils killed my chances of going to the BYU/SDSU game tonight. Gonna try and salvage something from that. I'm on suicide watch for the time being. I WILL be at the BYU/Chapman game. If there is something that you fellas want me to ask or bring up let me know and I'll throw it out there.
Back to Coach Wood; hopefully if things move in the right direction, as far as relationship with him and LAS(me) I have some ideas that will definitely bring some great material to LAS!

I think what would hold Connor Martin back in Division 1 is size; he would need to beef up a little bit…kid is a rail.

I think it depends on where he was playing. At a school like Manhattan or Presbyterian, right now he would start and be one of the best players on the team. If he were at Cuse or Hopkins right now he wouldn't see the field except against Manhattan or Presbyterian. That is NOT a knock on him at all. There are just some super talented kids at Cuse/JHU/Duke who play and some super talented kids who ride the pine. It's tough to break in at a place like that. There is also such a big difference between the top and bottom D1 squads. That being said, a kid like Will McKee at Duke was a star as a freshamn at D3 St. Lawrence and transferred to Duke to play with his bro, Parker… he is now one of their best midfielders. So the real answer is… who knows? If ConBroChill had been at the Hop for his entire career we might be talking about him in the same breath as Wharton, Stanwick, Cummings, Quinzani, Bitter, etc.
He's got a really good stick and loves lax. If he hit the weight room hard and were playing against D1 guys every day? The sky is the limit. D1 lax is just about so much more than being a good player… it's about dedication, pushing your physical abilities and putting in A LOT more time. Probably too many variables for any truth to really come out but thinking about it sure is interesting!

How would Con-bro fare playing D1 lacrosse? The guy is obviously super talented, and very comfortable where he is, but I have to wonder what kind of impact he could have for a solid D1 team. Not a knock on him by any means, just want to get opinions from those “in the know.”
