Grow The Game Tip of the Day

Grow The Game

There are a lot of people out there with ideas for spreading lacrosse in their community. Recently, we asked fans on the LAS Facebook Page to share their own perspective.

The prompt: In 200 words or less, please explain your favorite way to Grow The Game.

We received over 100 answers – some serious, others quite playful – and over the next several days, we’re going to be sharing a few of our favorite tips to #GrowTheGame.

GROW THE GAME TIP #18

This one comes from Brady Welvaert of Wisconsin.

“Well, I started a high school team in my area and now have been teaching some of the local Ho-chunk tribe about their ancient game and I have been growing it that way. It’s a good way to give back to a sport I love. I also started helping out with our starter youth programs and it has been going well.. Only been involved in the game for 5 years and I’ve grown it in my area exponentially.”

Sounds like you’re putting in a serious effort, Brady, and we support that! GTG in Wisconsin? We love it!
