Much Like the CCLA, the division is top heavy at the D1 level, but the real depth and meat of the conference is at the D2 level.

While you’re at it with the lil laxers, you may want to start another program that may also help the game spread faster. Ask the laxers in town to donate their old equipment to your program…with the economy the way it is right now, you may find that equiping these kids will be the biggest task for the parents…and if they can wear donated equipment to try the game out, it will take off!! We started this in our town program in western Massachusetts and it has been extremely successful. Not only do the lil laxers look up to the older kids, but they LOVE the idea of wearing their local hero’s pads. This also will help out the older laxer’s parents, and they wont have to worry about what to do with the old equipment.

It’s worked for us, so I figured I would pass it on. Great article too!!
