Tuesdays w/ Con ≈ Hardest Working Guy on Twitter

Ahoy! Welcome back to Tuesdays w/ Con, aka me! Today the Boom Town boys are taking a look at the guy who never forgets to bring his phone to a workout. You don’t have to be a regular at the gym to know who he is, just scroll through your Twitter account or Instagram feed and you’ll quickly figure it out.

The Modern Age

This isn’t the 90’s baby. You don’t have to film me on your VHS camera to get proof I was out working hard getting ready for the season, you can just check my Twitter feed.

I just wanted to give a shout out to all the athletes out there, amateur and pro, who seem to be working real hard according to their Twitter accounts.

Us athletes, famous or not, just have this urge to make sure people know we’re working hard off the field and sometimes the only reason we get out there to work on our game is so we can Tweet about it… It might be the best thing that ever happened to my game. #Reps

Work Hard, Tweet Hard

The Hardest Working Guy On Twitter is a fiend when it comes to his posting about his work out regiment.

First, he rolls out to the field, pours out his bucket of balls, lays his stick and gloves down next to them, snaps a pic. After that he takes 8-12 outside shots from up top and then takes his talents to the weight room.

There he bangs out 3 sets of 3 reps of 225 on the bench. He does not Clean or Squat. Then he moves to the biceps and snaps a pic of his one sweet vein on his right arm. After that he hits the hot tub/sauna to mellow out and reflect on his training and how to best caption his awesome pictures.

He can easily get 3 -7 Twitter posts, 3 Instagram photos, 8 Snapchats, and a Facebook post out of this 85 minute ritual. He’s a cool guy.

What Can I Do, Con?

5 Things TO DO on Twitter:

  1. Spell Gym “Jim”
  2. Take Selfies but don’t look at the camera
  3. Retweet people who say nice things about you so you don’t have to brag about yourself
  4. Take Jump High Five Pics
  5. Follow Back

5 Things NOT to do:

Not so much five, but one key concept: Just be careful out there guys. The internet is a crazy place.

Who should I follow?

My fav Tweeters are chosen for different reasons but to start, Matt Gibson is absolutely hilarious. He’s always cracking jokes, who doesn’t like a guy who cracks jokes?

After that I love guys like Paul Carcaterra, Connor Wilson, Trevor Tierney, you know, dudes who are very thoughtful when it comes to our game and constantly posting cool things and encouraging kids in unique ways.
