Fall Ball Lacrosse Action: Round One

It is the fall season, one of wonder and excitement. The Mann Cup is going strong, the NLL is still a ways off, and college teams are really starting to get down to business. Let’s take a look in at some of the teams across the country, and how they are prepping for the Spring of 2014!

We’ll be back each week with more photos (and perhaps video) as more teams get started. If you want to submit a photo for inclusion, send it in to use via the Community section and we’ll include it next week.

Brown holds small side sessions – Ivy League rules limit the number of practices in fall ball pretty severely, but individual and small side sessions allow for a little extra work to be done in the off season. Brown gets after it early:

Do you love those collar and arm striped reversibles as much as we do? Beauties. Photo Credit: Quinton Turner

Marquette’s first day looks well organized, and quite frankly, Tommy Wright nailed it with this killer photo:

Virginia is getting after it with some 6 on 6:

The ‘Cuse is striping up their lids:

Maryland enjoys the early morning:

Furman gets athletic and weird with Landing Drills:

Think there is still some Navy influence in Coach Meade?

The Hill Academy has fresh nets, and not just for hockey:

And the CUFLA (that’s Canadian University field lacrosse) season starts this weekend. Talk about fall ball!
