Spotted: Native American Lacrosse in Hell on Wheels

Spotted - lacrosse in unexpected places

Editor’s note: Welcome to another great installment of “Spotted”. With your help, we hope to shine a light on lacrosse spotted in unexpected places, whether it be on TV or in real life. If you find any aspect of lacrosse in a place you didn’t expect it, we would love to hear from you. Take a quick photo or video and email it to info@lacrosseallstars.com.

Bonus spotting! We’re bringing you a second spotting today because our own Connor Wilson found this awesome clip from the AMC television show Hell on Wheels. The show, described on its website as a depiction of “the traveling town known as Hell on Wheels, a dangerous, raucous, lawless melting pot that follows and services the construction of the first transcontinental railroad,” finds its protagonist in a game of “stick ball” with Native Americans in this episode from season three.
