You forgot the DC burbs in Virginia, Philly which has long been a lax powerhouse, Boston and Denver. Can’t forget the various reservations which by treaty of course have passage into the US and Canada. US teams along the border usually comply with Canadian Lacrosse Association rules in regards to equipment, etc. as they do play as teams or individuals. Don’t forget the semi–pro teams in many of these cities which is an out growth like the Midwestern based league. BTW, CLAX is using rules that draw from box AND field and it’s more of a way to keep box going in the winter as many of them play in the summer senior leagues that play for the Mann cup.

Buffalo as well. There is the Buffalo Bandits along with various teams that play in the same league as the Rochester Greywolves. Also there is various leagues and tournament throughout the year.

Rochester has a thriving box scene, with the pro Knighthawks and the minor league Greywolves, as well as a year-round adult box league…tonight we’re starting up fall box up in Webster on an outdoor field turf box with lights, which I might be playing goalie in for some reason…in the words of Bart Scott, “Can’t Wait!”
