You’re playing a physical sport with a bunch of men who take it very seriously and are very emotionally involved with the game. Tempers are going to flare and occasionally punches might be thrown. It doesn’t happen every game, or even close to every game. The best thing anyone can do is to educate young kids playing the game in sportsmanship and showing that the positive aspects of lacrosse such as teamwork, brotherhood, and most of all, FUN should take precedence over anything else.
