Great stuff. Here’s some more:

When I was a kid, shafts and heads were not sold separately.When I was a kid growing up in Westchester County, NY, “club” teams didn’t exist. There were camps, and that was about it.When I was a kid, the shorts were SHORT!When I was a kid, there were only two types of playing surfaces: grass and dirt. You wore the same pair of cleats for both.When I was a kid, the equipment was bulky, heavy and not very flexible. It made us better.
When I was a kid, chest protectors were just flimsy pieces of foam.

Ha I was that “stringer kid” on my HS team, but traditional only back then.
Don’t know if it made the team better, but I made a little $ doing it :P

Brine is still not owned by Warrior. New Balance owns both. Warrior never bought Brine. New Balance bought both. New Balance just gobbled BOTH up. Neither is owned by the other. New Balance owns BOTH.
