I grew up reading Calvin and Hobbes cartoons almost religiously, and now that I think back about it, they were a huge part of my childhood. Calvinball seemed like the greatest sport of all time to me, and I longed for a stuffed animal to come to life to teach me life lessons. I guess that explains a lot. I never got my Hobbes, so I settled for reading every comic strip of theirs ever and playing lax in my side yard with my younger brother.
Well, it seems like Calvin finally learned his lesson. What lesson is that? That lacrosse is better than baseball… at least when it comes to Pine Cones.
And to come full circle, my brother Lehan was the one to send this in! Thanks, Lee! Mardi Gras Tourney is just around the corner!
