When To Get New Mesh

Welcome to Forum Friday! There are already some great conversations taking place in the all new LAS Community.

If you haven’t signed up yet, make sure you do! And while you’re at it, you might as well watch this silly video update we created too. We hope it provide you with an easy way to connect with other lacrosse fans all over the world.

An interesting question has popped up in the Forums, although the post itself doesn’t pose the same question as the title of the post. The title of the post is “How do you know when you need new mesh?” The post, however, is about types of mesh.

teamgoon98 posted the following:

I’m using STX power-v mesh and the release is awful but the hold is great. I don’t know what to string on the head if I do. I’m thinking a wax mesh id appreciate recomendations [sic] thanks.

The comments that have come in so far mostly address the post itself, giving mesh recommendations such as East Coast Mesh, String King, and Jimalax. What I’m more interested in, though, is the title of the post. How do you know when you need new mesh? There are obvious surefire signs (e.g. torn pieces of mesh), but what else lets you know it’s time for new mesh? Let us know in the original thread!
