LaxAllStars.com Photo Of The Week!

Each week we’re looking for a superb lacrosse photo from one of our readers. If your photo is selected as Photo Of The Week, you win something awesome from LAS!

This week, we’re featuring a killer lacrosse photo, where balance is not only key to winning, but staying a live.  Kid must have the strongest neck in the world!  I’ll let Michael of Sound Lacrosse fill you in on the photo a bit further:

Henderson’s Stetson Bartschi does a head-stand during a face-off against Claremont at the Northwest Invitational yesterday on Mercer Island, Washington.

Henderson is from Nevada, and is ranked #11 in the STX-WSL top-25 poll. Claremont is from Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada.  Claremont prevailed, 19-16.  The invitational also featured three STX-WSL top-25 teams from Washington State: Bellevue (#5), Mercer Island (#7), and Issaquah (#16) as well as three top 25 teams from Oregon: Lincoln (#12), Lakeridge (#19) and Lake Oswego (HM).

In the two Marquis games, Mercer Island (last year’s WA state champion) beat Lincoln, the Oregon state champion, 7-6, and Bellevue beat Guilderland from New York State, 9-5.
