Tune in Tuesday: Wooster Wind Down

Happy New Year to all the LAS readers across the globe! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and got to rip some rope despite all of these nasty weather systems we’re seeing across the country (time for the old latex gloves and Vaseline trick). To start up 2014, I’m actually bringing you somewhat of a throwback with Santa Cruz’s own Wooster (not the college).

This soulful reggae rock band hasn’t released any new music in a couple of years but I recently got hooked on a few of their albums The Heights of Things (2009) and If All the Dew Were Diamonds (2012). It’s the kind of music to sit back and relax to at home, on the bus, in the car, etc.

Wooster makes me want to slow down and enjoy life a little more – I think we could all use some more of that – so I thought this would be a great way to kick off the New Year. Enjoy!
