Zack Greer is an extremely passionate lacrosse player. He played his college lacrosse at Duke and Bryant University, and since moved on to play professional lacrosse in the MLL and NLL. But beyond his love for the game, Zack is also passionate about supporting families who are affected by autism.
After graduating college, Zack started the Zack Greer Foundation, an organization committed to helping improve the quality of life for those affected, and their families, by raising funds and awareness for the Autism Spectrum Disorder.
In order promote Zack’s cause and raise money, Zack Greer and the Zack Greer Foundation have teamed up with LaxAllStars.com and Pro Athletics to create a custom pair of lacrosse shorts that are now on sale through Lax All Stars’ store, The Lacrosse Shop. Please click here if you are interested in purchasing a pair!
The profits generated from the sale of these shorts will be donated to the Zack Greer Foundation to help provide assistance to those in need and generate awareness to the lacrosse community, and the general public.
We have received a great reception so far and shorts are flying off the proverbial shelves. Over 50 pairs of shorts have already been ordered (in only one day!) and LAS reader Josh Karp of Towaco, NJ deserves a SERIOUS shout out here because he organized 37 of those sales himself!!!!! Josh has his Bar Mitzvah coming up soon and as part of his community service effort, he’s been trying to help us raise funds (by selling shorts) for the Zack Greer Foundation! We’d say he’s been pretty successful! Great job, Josh! And thanks!!
The shorts design incorporates the Zack Greer Foundation logo, an 88 with a puzzle piece inside it, as well as the Lacrosse All Stars official logo. The colors are those of the ZG Foundation (blue) and hot pink with navy. The honey comb is a fantastic background layer that reminds us of all the strength required to fight through adversity.
Please join us in supporting this worthy cause by purchasing a pair (or two, or three!) of the Zack Greer Foundation Shorts and wearing them as much as possible! By spreading the word and getting involved we can all make a difference in the lives of those affected by autism.
