I always laughed when I heard about men playing field hockey because my only experience in the past had been boys playing on girls' HS teams… then one night at 4am I randomly caught highlights of a “hockey” game between two european teams and… wow. the game is brutal. pretty fast pace, physical, no pads and lots of hacking. If FH were like that stateside, I would be interested. FH here in the states though is plagued by an overabundance of whistles… which makes it boring and actually LESS skillful.
