Who can derail you, once you’ve decided that you’re going to make it a GREAT week?
The anchors of The GREAT Life are GRATITUDE and TEAM-FIRST (or selflessness). Both require the maintenance of an attitude that is not only positive, but bigger than the moment. That’s why it’s possible to be grateful for the situation that seems to be less than favorable.
We can be grateful because we know that it’s helping us to better appreciate what was or what still can be; Or maybe we’re grateful for the less than favorable because we know that the it’s building us up for something bigger or better. Our positive attitude allows us to put others before ourselves, not because we expect anyone else to do that for us but, because we understand that others have already done so. Our positive attitude allows us to pay it forward.
This week, more than likely, there will be something or someone that shows up to try and derail your GREAT day and your GREAT week. Keep in mind, however, that we control our own attitude. Nobody else determines that for us. Nobody else determines our reactions. It doesn’t mean that nobody else has an effect on us. It means thatwe determine who can effect us and we determine to what extent they can effect us. As the saying goes, “A tiger doesn’t lose sleep over the opinion of sheep.” Live the GREAT life. And live it as a tiger!
Make it a GREAT day, and a GREAT week!
