Who Does It Better? Best of the LXM Pro

Welcome to our brand new series, Who Does It Better? We will showcase one match-up each week in which we put two people, places or even things up against each other and ask you, the reader, Who Does It Better? It’s all good-hearted fun though, and that should be pretty prevalent by our match-ups. Know of a good match-up we should feature? Let us know!

In today’s match-up, we pit two of LXM Pro’s best against each other. A battle just as big as Kobe Bryant and Lebron James, the season veteran vs. the young gun. The only difference is these two are on the same team, work for the same lacrosse company and they are great friends. Kyle Harrison and Sam Bradman.

Please remember! This is all in good fun, we love everyone featured in this series and couldn’t be more appreciative of their contributions to our great game!

Kyle Harrison

I absolutely loved watching Kyle Harrison at Johns Hopkins. He was so confident, so quick and there was no one that could match his speed or agility. He put up 126 points on 81 goals and 45 assists throughout his four years at JHU, but more impressively scooped up 304 groundballs in the process – talk about hustle stats! Kyle was a 3x All American, won the McLaughlin Award (nation’s top middie) twice in ’04 and ’05 and capped off his career by winning lacrosse’s most prestigious award, the Tewaaraton Trophy in 2005. He was also able to finish his career at Johns Hopkins with a National Championship win.

Even today, K18 can still ball with the best. Proving that with his play in the 2012 season of LXM Pro and even as recent as the Champion Challenge while on Team USA.

While he has slowly transitioned into a primarily offensive role, Kyle has always been an incredible two-way midfielder, hustling hard on both sides of the field. He is one of those guys where you can’t help but catch the bug when you watch him play – his energy on the field is electric.

Sam Bradman

I keep calling Sam Bradman a rising star and then deleting it, because I feel like he has more than proven his talent in his time at Salisbury, LXM Pro, and even during the Champion Challenge as well. Since graduating from Salisbury, Bradman has been lighting up LXM goalies with his signature low to high rip and insane shot speed.

Back at Salisbury, Sam was a stand-out player and helped bring home two National Championships for the Gulls. He was also NCAA DIII Player of the Year in 2012 and amassed 304 points on 201 goals and 103 assists throughout his career at Salisbury.

Throughout his entire senior year, the debate raged back and forth about whether he would choose to play in the MLL or for the LXM Pro. People knew his choice as much as they knew why he didn’t play NCAA D1, earning him the title of the Most Interesting Man in Lacrosse. People knew he could play at any level he chose.

So lax nation, Who Does It Better? Kyle Harrison, the seasoned veteran still competing at the top of his game? Or Sam Bradman, the young gun paving his own way into the lacrosse history books?
