Two league games remain for McGill University, but the undefeated Redmen already can call themselves CUFLA East Division champions. After a pair of dominating wins last week over Concordia and Ottawa, the Redmen (10-0) can turn their attention to the post-season playoffs and their quest for the Baggataway Cup.
After winning the championship in 2012 McGill were undefeated in 2013, but came up short against underdog Guelph in the title game last fall. Head Coach Tim McGill has a talented group that are hungry for that championship that eluded them last year.
Brock (6-0) remain in control of the West Division facing three games this week. Western (6-2) and Laurentian (5-2) keep winning against everyone BUT the Brock Badgers, keeping them close. Both have lost all their matchups against the Badgers so far this season. Laurentian meets Brock again on Saturday and Sunday.
