I didn’t intend my original comment to be a rebuttal to yours at all, probably should have stayed away from the respond button for that one. It was just intended as you said to be a note about the videos and to give the guys some recognition for what they do.

Thanks for the note. It is a lot of effort to put a video together and I agree it should be fun. There is no right or wrong way. The blog asked for an ordering, so I gave my opinion, but it wasn’t meant to be a downer on the Carthage videos. Posting videos on the web will draw comments as I know too well and I have come to appreciate both the positive and negative responses. If a video moves someone to comment, I count that as a positive.

Our Camera guys, from Carthage, have to have some fun with their videos. They are two talented guys who give up a lot of personal time to come to practices and also travel with us. This spring break video came from 6 days and a million bus hours, less of a press release and more of their artistic take on the games.

I have to go with the Merrimac Lacrosse video. Some great camera work, high production values and some voice over to give the context. Carthage was interesting, but just because you have a lot of flashy transitions tjhat you should use them and doesn’t always translate to an enjoyable video.
