Note From Norway: The Norwegian Championship is this Weekend!

Editor’s note: Rune Andersson stops by to fill us in on the Norwegian Championship being held June 15th and 16th in Oslo, Norway.

On the 15th and 16th of June, the Norwegian Championship will be held at Frogner Stadium in Oslo, Norway. 10 teams will battle hard during their qualifying matches, before narrowing the field down to four teams, which will play for the gold and glory on Saturday.

Three of the teams are from Oslo and the last squad is from Kristiansand. The teams are: BI Lions Lacrosse, HiO Kings, Oslo Legends and UiA Studs.

The first match is between HiO Kings and BI Lions and the second match is between Oslo Legends and UiA Studs.
The winners of both the matches will play for the gold, while the two losing teams will play for 3rd place.

There has been a ton of enthusiasm and excitement surrounding these match-ups. All of the lacrosse players are also very excited and looking for their opportunity to shine under the spotlight. It is sure to be a spectacular show in Oslo from all parties, especially the Midas Cheerleaders!

This year, the BI Lions are doing their best to win the championship and also the party! No matter who wins, BI Lions wish all the team’s good luck for the gold and the Championship win.

Last years results are as follows:
