NYC Box Lacrosse – Week 3

Week 3 of NYC’s box lacrosse league (run by ULAX) saw a little upset action as previously undefeated lost its first game of the season to the Gotham Goats. The Goats got balanced scoring on offense, played good team defense, and benefitted from JP Fragola having a really good day in net.

It’s now a three way tie at the top now with GG, LAS and the Brooklyn Dodgers all sitting at 2-1. Team America played their most competitive and complete game of the year so far and gave Brooklyn a great run for their money. Jordan Williams and Matthew Denis both scored a ton of goals for the Dodgers, and Jeff Melnik was excellent in goal.
