if you go to CBS sports website, I think there is a link to watch some NCAA gburg games. I saw the final against Cortland and Kehoe throws JUNK! in a good way. He is fast and has a great stick. I was actually very impressed with the Gburg dmen, in general although Kehoe had the best checks.

Excellent point, Grant. That WAS a first round NCAA game. my memory is slipping faster than I thought! but that doesn't really change my mind...

I am going to stick with Connor English since he did it in the state Finals and scored 9 goals. Also he has the same first name as me so there is that.

I think the 9 goals he scored was a Manhasset record... at least a record in the state playoffs anyway. He did it against a tough and talented Lafayette team when it counted most.

I watched the UNC-UMBC highlights and Bitter really did put on a clinic. The last time I saw him play in person was at the Glastonbury Lacrosse Tournament in 2008 when he played for North Shore LC and was pretty much unstoppable from X. fast, great stick protection and can put the ball away when he gets the opportunity. Bitter has to be a front runner for the Tewaaraton this year. Someone else could easily step in and have a huge season but Bitter is going to be a key for UNC's success, not only in how he performs but also how he can draw attention from other guys on the team like Petraca. Should be a good season and I'd love to see UNC get back to the Billy Daye era level of success where they were competing for and winning NC's.

412 just did an interview with Tommy Kehoe, one of the D3 POY candidates. Great personal dialog. I would've liked to see him play.

Here's the link: http://bit.ly/xLBBZ

Bitter's 8 goals on 9 shots wasn't in the regular season, it was in the first round of the NCAA tournament. UNC only won that game 15-13, which means without Bitter's jaw-dropping performance, UNC loses. Gotta be Bitter for performance of the year.
