Killer bees Lacrosse was using a ProAthletics prototype helmet wrap,a MUCH cheaper and home applied alternative. They still aren’t available to the public though but hopefully this will be a useful alternative to those guys who cant be with out their helmet for a week or so.

Also wear and tear is pretty big deal on these. FO guys beware a helmet clip will destroy a head wraps job with in the first quarter sadly.

wear and tear seems to be ok. granted I’ve only had the lid for a month now at most.
the material is thin but should definitely last an entire season. So far, I’ve been hit in the head wearing it but no breaks or tears can be seen.

I will try to get another reaction from some guys who had team helmets done last year, the killer bees lacrosse club and see what they think.
